Michael didn’t take to acting until recently, despite studying theater in college under John Astin at Johns Hopkins.

He has starred in a few short films, but This Thing With Sarah is his first starring role in a feature film.

Raised between London and 
New York, Amanda moved to LA seven years ago.

In addition to her starring role in This Thing With Sarah, her theatrical credits include leading roles in films such as Dragon Wars, Flightplan, My Best Friends Girl, Stiletto, and The Rivers End.

After arriving in Los Angeles by way of Georgia, Wes found success starring in the 2005 television series Barbershop. 

He followed that up by scoring roles in Paul Haggis’ In The Valley Of Elah, Oliver Stone’s W. and most recently Tate Taylor’sThe Help. He next stars as a fighter in The Philly Kid. 

Shortly after arriving in LA in 2009, Jess, an Ohio native, booked a supporting role in the Focus Features film Taking Woodstock.

She followed that up with TV appearances on NBC’s Community and ABC Family’s Nine Lives of Chloe King. Jess can next be seen in the AFM hit The Wicked in the summer of 2012.

Ryan works as both a producer and actor in film, television, and live theater in Los Angeles. 

Feature film credits include Men of Honor, The Victim, Saving Lincoln, and Hallowed Ground.  Television credits include N.C.I.S., Alias, E.R., Invasion, Cold Case, L.A.X., Star Trek: Enterprise, and General Hospital.

Shortly after receiving her BA in theater from USC, Shannon landed her breakout role on Fox's The O.C. Most recently, she collaborated with Aaron Paul and Lena Olin on the feature film Quad and was featured on a pilot series for TNT, The Tin Star. 

Past notable credits include Fireflies in the Garden, True Blood, Feast of Love, The Chicago Code, Grey's Anatomy. 



Originally from Long Island, New York, Michael moved to LA following college, where he studied Writing at Johns Hopkins University. Since arriving in LA in 2008, Michael has written, directed, acted in and produced a number of short films and internet content. In 2011 Michael was one of ten finalists - out of six thousand submissions - for the Crash The Super Bowl commercial competition with his advertisement Elevator Girl. Although his ad was not one of the six selected to air during the Super Bowl, he used the money he earned as a finalist to fund This Thing With Sarah. The low budget project is Michael’s feature length debut as a writer, director and actor.

A native of Ann Arbor Michigan, Michael David Lynch is an award winning producer and director, living in Los Angeles. Lynch's award winning shorts
Burden & Swerve were favorites at multiple film festivals around the world. 

In 2010 Michael produced the action thriller short film Insert for renowned director Paul Hunter (Bulletproof Monk). 2011 was a productive year with three narrative features as a producer under his belt, This Thing With Sarah, Saving Lincoln and Between Us, starring Julia Stiles and Taye Diggs. Last year, DROP his stunning documentary  was released on 3D Blu-ray.


A Toledo, Ohio native, Joe Burke received his MFA in Directing from the American Film Institute (AFI) in 2009. Like some of his favorite filmmakers, Burke's work focuses on capturing those honest relatable moments in life, in both its comedic and dramatic form, which he considers to be a very thin line.

Collaborating with Doneger and Lynch on “TTWS” inspired Burke to set out to direct his first indie feature, which he finished shooting in November 2011.

Visual Effects Compositor 

Ryan Urban is a visual effects compositor working out of Los Angeles. Since graduating from Columbia College Chicago he has been career driven in film and advertising. He has been a dedicated compositor on films such as
The Tree of Life, Fast Five, Nightmare on Elm Street, and Ninja Assassin. For films releasing in 2012 he recently completed comp work on Hollywood blockbusters This Means War and Wrath of the Titans at Method Studios. He is currently working as VFX Supervisor on the indie drama Between Us.

Production Designer

Raised in Sonoma, CA,
Teo took an interest to art at an early age as he grew up attending Renaissance fairs and festivals. He directed the award winning short films Help Wanted and What is Funny? which he also Designed.  He was the Production Designer on the feature film One Day Like Rain, starring Jesse Eisenberg as well as the film Dead Air, directed by Corbin Bernsen. He was also the Set Decorator on Corbin Bernsen’s 25 Hill, starring Nathan Gamble.

Associate Producer

Born and raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Collin developed a passion for drawing, painting, music, and storytelling at an early age. 

In 2005, Collin received the Presidential Scholarship to attend Columbia College Chicago. Over the course of his college career, he won multiple awards for short films entered in mid western area festivals. Collin graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Film Directing. Recently, he has worked as production coordinator on such features as, This Thing With Sarah, Between Us, & Saving Lincoln and is currently in the development stages of multiple directing projects.


Born in Sydney, Australia, Allyson studied at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. She was introduced to the film world after being approached by Dolby to create music to showcase their technology at the Audio Engineers Society Conferences in Munich and New York.  Soon after, Allyson began working on films such as
Cheek to Cheek (Winner, Palm Springs Int.) and Watermark (Cannes Film Festival). 

In 2004, Allyson moved to L.A. to study at the University of Southern California under the tutorage of renowned Hollywood composers such as Michael
Giacchino and Christopher Young.  Following USC, she attended the Aspen Music School where she studied with notable film composer, Thomas Newman.  Allyson has since been the recipient of several awards for her work in film music. In 2006, Allyson co-founded music production company, Quartertonemusik, and has also worked alongside leading composers such as Jay Gruska (Supernatural) and Jon Ehrlich (House M.D.).  Most recently Allyson scored the documentary feature Mein Schloss by director Amy Adler and also wrote the music for “Frat House Musical”, a web series for Subway. Currently Allyson works on the award winning TV series, Childrens Hospital.

Brad Stark is a motion graphic designer working out of Chicago. His recent work includes working on graphic titles for the short films
Burden and Diversion. Brad also works on a constant rotation of projects in the advertising industry.
